mac ERROR 2002 (HY000): Cant connect to local MySQL server through socket /tmp/mysql.sock

可能是/tmp/mysql.sock 被删除

 

1.  查询my.cnf 应该放的路径

mysql --verbose --help | grep my.cnf

// /etc/my.cnf /etc/mysql/my.cnf /usr/local/etc/my.cnf ~/.my.cnf 

2.选一个创建 

sudo vim /etc/my.cnf

文件内容: here

3. 重启，如果有error  mysqld_safe Directory '/var/lib/mysql' for UNIX socket file don't exists.

创建目录：

sudo mkdir -p /var/lib/mysql

4. 重启：

mysql.server start 或者mysql.server restart
